Nuclear Shadowing in DIS: Numerical Solution of the Evolution Equation for the Green Function

چکیده

Within a light-cone QCD formalism based on the Green function technique incorporating color transparency and coherence length effects we study nuclear shadowing in deep-inelastic scattering at moderately small Bjorken xBj . Calculations performed so far were based only on approximations leading to an analytical harmonic oscillatory form of the Green function. We present for the first time an exact numerical solution of the evolution equation for the Green function using realistic form of the dipole cross section and nuclear density function. We compare numerical results for nuclear shadowing with previous predictions and discuss differences.

Within a light-cone quantum-chromodynamics dipole formalism based on the Green function technique, we study nuclear shadowing in deep-inelastic scattering at small Bjorken xBj ∼ < 0.01. Such a formalism incorporates naturally color transparency and coherence length effects. Calculations of the nuclear shadowing for the q̄q Fock component of the photon are based on an exact numerical solution of ...

Unconditionally Stable Difference Scheme for the Numerical Solution of Nonlinear Rosenau-KdV Equation

In this paper we investigate a nonlinear evolution model described by the Rosenau-KdV equation. We propose a three-level average implicit finite difference scheme for its numerical solutions and prove that this scheme is stable and convergent in the order of O(τ2 + h2). Furthermore we show the existence and uniqueness of numerical solutions. Comparing the numerical results with other methods in...
